[Bass' Revenge 5]

An Incredible Sprite Movie

I will be pleasantly surprised if you manage to top yourself with this. I especially like how you not only made the whole series a continuation to MM and X Final Battle, but also provided an in-between storyline linking the two. Overall, quite excellent.

Can't Complain Much

The only major quarrel I had with it was I would have preferred some distinction between the good Crono and the evil Crono, like a slightly lighter or darker shade for the evil one or something.

Other than that, it wasn't too bad. Now I'm waiting to see Shin's version of it. (But weren't you two supposed to release it at the same time today?)

[Crono Trigger : AW Part 1]

Not too bad...

The looking better in FLA as opposed to SWF happens a lot. I've heard the best way to get around that is to use the "Trace Bitmap" option on sprites, but I've never used that for mine so I don't know how effective it really is.

You've got a good start. I think all it really needs is a lot of tweaking here and there - the base was pretty solid.

Trace bitmap makes them look like I made them in paint! :P Its so weird, it messes them up.

Another good movie from you as always. The only suggestion I have is a scene selection for those of us who watch your movies more than once.

[MegaMan VS Bass Shorts]

A Couple Things

First... you used X sprites and put X in the life bar, yet in the closeup photo was of Megaman and Bass referred to him as Megaman as well. Megaman and X are not the same.

Second, a couple of shots and then a screen saying "7 minutes later" is kinda disappointing. I myself made a couple of Megaman movies, the first one had a short battle, but I improved on that in second.

So my advice is if you make a second, put more effort into the battle and be sure to use only Megaman sprites. This one is allright for a start, though.

Nice Job

I tend to lean toward Megaman Sprite animations, probably because I've made a few myself, so I'm a bit biased... but this was good. The only suggestion I can offer is at the end of the movie, stop at the last frame (with a button to play again) instead of letting it automatically loop around. Other than that, keep up the good work.

If you are referring to when the movie says "A month later..." and you once again see footage of Lan going "Jack in..." you are mistaken. I simply reused footage to save time. If you were to keep watching, you would have seen that the movie continues to a definite end in which I DO stop and have a button to do all that.

That's good, because it's a nice episode in this collection of movies you've got going here... I'm also in the Megaman Sprite movie making field, (I just finished "Megaman: Polarity 2" with a third episode in the works) so I can really appreciate what you're doing here. The only complaint I have is that your translations are a little off (i.e. "I didn't teleported here."), but other than that you're doing great. Keep it up!
